 Test centre KS 5060/850 PC
At the moment we are working on procurement of equipment for testing of facades, windows and doors on:
- Air-permeability
- Watertightness
- Wind load.
The equipment is currently being tested in the premises of the company K. Schulten in Emsbüren, Germany. The plan is that installation of equipment and operator training , complets by mid of September, which would enable FEAL, that next to the testing of own systems and services , carring out the testing of building elements that are not FEAL's product.

Plant for decoration of Aluminium profiles, sheets and accessories
In April,2009 the Plant for Al - profiles, sheets and accessories started with work.
Phases of the process are:
- Electrostatic Powder coating
- Wrapping Al - profiles (sheets or accessories) with plastic film on the bagging machine
- Vacuum pump drains the air out from the tube forcing the film to adapt perfectly to the profiles surfaces
- Baking in the oven or process of sublimation
- Cooling and removing of the film
At the beginning Al - profiles, sheets or accessories should be painted with Polyurethane powder coatings through electrostatic deposition. The powder then melts during baking in oven. While baking, the powder particle fuse and create a cross - linking chemical reaction - polymerization i.e. creating a basic layer for further process of decorations.
The procedure of decoration conducts via process of the sublimation, using a special film with a different pattern (various wood effect) and it is based on the principle that sublimation color, which is printed on the transmission film, under high temperature in the gaseous state exceeds the basic Al - material and color (pattern) is absorbed in the structure of the electrostatic obtained layer, where it is possible to obtain the desired effect.

FEAL d.o.o accomplished the sanation of 1630 tons press
 On July 31st 2006 in FEAL factory in İiroki Brijeg, the 1630 tons press started to work. It is the second press that has started the operation in FEAL İiroki Brijeg, and the third will be started by the end of this year in the new factory being established in Mostar, FE-AL Mostar.
The maintenance repairment was performed on the press, it was completely modernized with a high level of automatization. The new equipment has been purchased, i.e. the new stove for the rods with guillotine, the new recipient, the double flexible tools nest. With the new equipment the idle time has been reduced from 45 seconds to 20 seconds. The new production equipment reduces the technological waste from 25% to 17%.
The annual capacity of FEAL company İiroki Brijeg is 6.000 tons, which means about 11.000 tons on the two presses. The complete modernization operation was performed by Italian company PRESEZZI EXTRUSION spa.

FEAL started the operation of the new plant for electrostatic coloring
 The newly built plant for the electrostatic coloring of the aluminum profiles and other aluminum products was put to work. The value of the investment is 1,65 million KM, and 30 new employees have been engaged.
The latest technology and equipment of the Swiss company has been installed, with booth type and other accessory equipment, with which FEAL became one of the most sophisticated plants for electrostatic aluminum profiles coloring in Europe.
The coloring speed has been increased from previous 1,7 m per minute to the present 2,5 m per minute. The annual coloring capability is 7.000 tons in the new plant, or the total of 12.000 tons together with the previously existing plant.
