ISO 14001

ISO 14001 represents international standard, which applies voluntarly  on all legal persons and defines how the effective system of managing of the environment should be developed.
FEAL d.o.o. Široki Brijeg has established an effective  system of managing of protection of the environment (EMS - Environmental Management System ) , and which is in accordance with all requirements of the international standard  ISO 14001.

Namely, after the implementation of international system of quality the ISO 9001:2000,   FEAL d.o.o. Široki Brijeg  has , on a day of  29.07.2009. successfully passed the  certification procedure for establishing of system of Environmental Management  - EMS , according to the standard of  ISO 14001:2004.
The decision  was brought by the team of experts of  the authorised certification institution of  BUREAU VERITAS Croatia - headed by  Mr. Željko Pehar, and after the inspection of all premises and departments of  our Company .
Within of this system  FEAL d.o.o. Široki Brijeg has identified all environmental aspects, that are connected with the activities of  FEAL d.o.o. Široki, determined the importance, set the aims and made programmes for improvement of environmental impact .
In the policy of the environmental protection the FEAL MANAGEMENT has bound itself  on a continuing  improvement of  the environment and harmonisation of laws and environmental regulations.

FEAL d.o.o. has been working on an implementation of the international ecological standard since  year 2007. At the same time ,Company has been introducing the system of  ISO 14001:2004  and started with the activities of getting of Environmental Licence  from Federal Ministry of the environment and  tourism.
Two years later and almost at the same time, Feal d.o.o. has successfully got an Environmental Licence on a day of 28.05.2009. and Certificate ISO 14001:2004 on a day of 29.07.2009.

By getting of the Environmental Licence and with the implementation of  ISO 14001 FEAL d.o.o. Široki Brijeg has obligation to act according to the laws , to comply with the highest international ecological standards, to act preventively , and through overall activities on a long term bases, refer on effective and responsible way toward safe and constant improvement of the environment.  

The Certificate ISO 14001 demonstrates that FEAL d.o.o. Široki Brijeg  has not only   actively  involved itself into protection of the environment, but also represents the proof that we have systematically and dedically paid attention to ecological questions, and that FEAL GROUP keeps continually adjusting each part of its business according to the most modern European and international ecological standards.

The environmental policy clearly states our minimum requirements and guidelines:

1. We accept social responsibility  for environmental protection ,and our thoughts and actions are directed towards a sustainable  society and in the interests of the future generations.
2. We pay great importance to the protection of the environment. The Management /Board is directly responsible for defining and implementing of the policy of  environmental protection. We use modern system for managing of the environment in order how we could secure the efficiency of implementation of our policy for environmental protection.  We consider legal regulations  as a minimum requests and we often go far beyond/above them in our effort for environmental protection.
3. We continually work on improvement of environmental protection. Our procurement policy is directed towards the goals of environmental protection. Those objectives/goals also affect on our behaviour toward contractual partners.
4. We try to find  solutions for our products and services that save energy and natural resources.
5. We actively include our employees into measures of  environmental protection.
